About The Book

Kalidas was the greatest poet and dramatist in the Sanskrit language of his time”tentatively 374 to 455 AD. His scripts depict the then existing light and humorous culture in India. His general attitude shown in his writings also reflects his sympathetic approach towards the deprived ones and also consideration about the wellbeing of them. He used to take an active part in all the activities of the kingdom. In this book the writer has made an attempt to translate the main works of Kalidas from Sanskrit to simple commonly spoken Hindi for easy understanding of the script by all.
