Kandhagiri Thiruppugazh / கந்தகிரி திருப்புகழ்

<p>By the grace of Thiruvayalur Aandavar this book titled Kandhagiri Thirupugazh which I have written contains many astonishing elements.</p><p>Firstly the second chapter of this book inspired by Thiruvasagam was composed in honor of my mother Thillai Sivakami who presides over Chidambaram. Her divine words (spoken within my heart) guided me in writing this section.</p><p>Secondly the wisdom-filled Thirupugazh verses in this book were inspired by my father Lord Murugan and the primordial deity Lord Vinayagar. Their praises as spoken (within my heart) by them motivated me to compose these verses.</p><p>Thirdly the section titled Thiruthaguthi contains songs born from a vision where Lord Murugan appeared in my dream resembling a great sage. He asked me Do you have the ability to write? and then disappeared. In response I have written This Thiruthaguthi must be given to this mortal by You alone acknowledging His divine will.</p><p>Thus I declare to you all that this Kandhagiri Thirupugazh was created entirely by the grace of my deities.</p><p>Oh Thiruvayalur Vallavan Your words are profound!<br/>Oh noble beings one after another!<br/>Hail to Arunagiri and Kandhagiri Thirupugazh!</p>
