KAP of Mothers regarding Exclusive Breastfeeding in Infants

Exclusive breastfeeding means that infant only receives breast milk with no addition of liquids or solids and not even water until six months of age. It is an ideal food for the infant. Additionally it is also beneficial for the health of the mothers. The present study aimed at improving the nutritional status of the infants in Islamabad through the assessment of the knowledge attitude and practices of mothers of infants admitted in Children Hospital Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad.
