KATÁDESMOI

This book is inspired by the author's final year work based on her theoretical studies of anthropological and historical concepts on the subject. Her quest to understand magical practices in a classical Athenian context resulted in a work that explores anthropological aspects and ways of understanding magic as a practice in various societies. However her case study has a clear focus on the Katádesmoi and their uses and structures making the reader understand more about this universe explored by academia but which in this work is accessible to all groups.
