Kavanaugh Love

Kavanaugh Love is a math poem that describes my journey through what is called a Kundalini Awakening.<p> For years I had lower back pain and then one day I found myself doing spontaneous yoga poses that I had no previous awareness of. At the time I had not yet heard of the Kundalini. But I learned. I even traveled to India in 2007 to gain a deeper understanding of the Yoga.<p> In Kundalini Yoga the body consists of seven energy centers called chakras. These chakras run from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. I use my mathematical training to relate a personal story to the larger story of the Kundalini Shakti. The balance of mathematics and poetry is why I refer to the work as a math poem.<p> In other news I'm engaged to a beautiful yoga teacher. I'm from Bowie Md. and I have two wonderful nieces.
