About the Book: The book is a collection of the authors childhood memories. She believes that her small village Alibag was much prettier than what it is today even as a town. She has shared the memories of the beach surrounding Nature like trees and flowers fairs and temples food that it was famous for school friends and her old beautiful big house etc. It is very delightful to go through these memories and share the simplicity with which she spent her childhood. About the Author: Prof. Ms. Mangal Gogte has been teaching Economics in a college in Mumbai University for more than four decades. She has written many papers for national and international conferences and has travelled world wide. She has travelled twice on scholarships from UGC Delhi to Finland and Mongolia for a month each. Has taught in the University of Vaasa Finland as visiting professor. After retirement she has taken to her childhood passion Painting (watercolours acrylic and oil) and has had exhibitions held in Mumbai. Writing columns is her passion too and has been writing in daily newspapers weeklys and magazines for more than 30 years. Also she is nominated to the Road Safety Advisory Committee Mumbai Traffic Police as a member for more than three decades. She has worked a Director International Relations for Somaiya Vidyavihar (campus) Mumbai.
