<p>Being loved and not knowing it could be deadly...<br><br>Having left his poverty struggles in the small town of Maynooth Ontario 32-year-old Kaz Carter arrives in Toronto to start life anew. Luck strikes and he lands a job in a gay and lesbian nightclub where a festive gala is held to ring in the 1988 New Year. What Kaz doesn't detect though is that he has fallen into the eyes of a deranged hustler who vows to kill anyone that gets in the way of his mythical romance with Kaz. After an unthinkable tragedy occurs and the degrees of separation that had guarded Kaz from a madman dwindle to zero Kaz is forced to take action--in ways he would never have imagined back in his Maynooth days.</p>
