Keep Going

<p>I wrote this book to celebrate my 65<sup>th</sup> birthday and to look back at what I have survived and grown from in more recent years. The past ten years since I wrote <em>You Have to Go Now</em> have brought me even more surprising challenges to conquer.                           </p><p>Falling for a married man whom I had believed to be single nearly broke me. In the end I knew this was yet another learning process for me that I would grow from and in turn can help others. </p><p>My financial situation coming to ruins was another big challenge I never thought I would have to face in my sixties. Accepting help from others is a hard pill to swallow when we are prideful. I stay humble in helping others but the kind of humility to accept help was a big lesson I had yet to learn in my life. </p><p>And just when you think you've survived the worse things possible the unthinkable happens. Losing my beautiful granddaughter MacKenzie to suicide was devastating! How would I ever find the words to do her justice? I had to rely on my faith in God to guide me in what I now pray may save another life. </p><p>Survival and finding light again in times of struggle is always my goal. To share my journey to help others is a privilege I take very seriously. </p>
