Keepers of the House

Written by a veteran educator working with a diverse population that ranges from underprivileged students recent immigrants and refugees to the children of working class and middle class families it draws on positive and challenging experiences addressing topics from the serious: school shootings the opioid crisis to the everyday task of caring for young people trying to connect them to literature and engaging them in the goal of becoming citizens.</span></p><p></p>
