Kevons Big Field Day is a childrens written by Kevon Lee. After being removed from his family due to violence Kevon grew up in the foster care system. At 5 years old Kevon was shot twice during a drug deal gone bad. He faced obstacles and situations that made him doubt his self-worth. Through mentorship and the power of education Kevon was able to find his voice. He has chosen to use that voice and become a childrens book author.In this book he highlights his grandmother who he feels was his angel on earth along with honoring his other mentors by using their names in his first book. Kevon plans to continue to write with the hope of reaching thousands of young readers. His dream is to inspire them to never give up.Synopsis: Kevon and his friends have a big field day ahead of them at school. As the games begin they worry about failing.
