Jerome Murphy-O''Connor''s reputation as a recognized expert on the Corinthian correspondence has been built on the original solutions he has offered to perennial problems. Although not a commentary on 1 Corinthians this volume deals thoroughly with all the major problems of the most interesting of the Pauline letters.
