About the Book: Khel Khel Me Aur Anay Kavitayein is a collection of poems on diverse themes gleaned from history mythology and sociology of village life. The poems contained in this book are reflective of deep emotions involved in our inter-personal relationships and intend to view them from the prism of love and sensuousness. Poems in this collection also contain vivid political overtones and reveal the rebellious character of the poet. They are a potent attack on conservatism status-quo exploitative and oppressive social and political practices. These bunch of poems celebrate humanism pluralism and the ethos of social amity and brotherhood. About the Author: Born on 10th February 1967 at Hajipur village in Jehanabad district Bihar Dr Amrendra Kumar received his early education from the village school and graduated from Swami Shahjanand College Jehanabad. Later on he finished his Post Graduation from Patna University Patna. In 2011 he received his PhD on the thesis titled as Peasant Consciousness in Nirala Literature from Jai Prakash University Chhapra Saran Bihar. He began his academic career in 2003 joining the Department of Hindi Jagdam College Chhapra and currently serving as Associate Professor in the same department. He has been also associated with freelance journalism and appeared in radio programmes for Akashvani Patna. He has published highly acclaimed research articles in journals like Bhasha Sangam Pratyay Vimarash Lok Dayara and Manisha.
