Khvaahishen

About the Book: khwahishein' is the second poetry collection by Sunil Dutt. His first book is called 'alfaaz-e-zindagi'. 'khwahishein' has around 100 poems and a short story 'ehsaas'. Themes of love, patriotism, festivities, and friendship, to name a few, have been talked about in the book. 'khwahishein' will take you on a roller coaster of emotions that you will want to experience over and over again. It's about finding courage and hope in hard times, being strong and optimistic when life seems unfair. Few poems are about self-discovery, compassion towards nature and a few about the huge variety of life we see around us daily. We see rich, poor, differently abled, powerful, perfectionists, and many different forms of stories arranged on this palette called life. The author has tried to express his views on this subject. He has spent more than a year integrating and editing the poems. He advises the readers to enjoy the book and come back with suggestions and reviews. He is thankful to each one of them for their time and support. About the Author: "Sunil Dutt Chaturvedi is a Sr. Sec. Engineer at North Western Railways currently working in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He has been an ardent admirer of writing and poetry since his childhood. About 30 years ago, he had penned his first piece wherein he critiqued about Charles Sobhraj which got published in the local newspaper. His primary subjects include human emotions and relationships, love, religion and politics. He feels inspired by seeing the daily struggles of people and respects all kind of work. There is lack of love and kindness in this world and his work depicts how as humans, we should unite for a greater cause and let go of the harmful barriers we have created for ourselves. He believes that the supreme power is always blessing him and watching him. Sunil has recently started contributing towards the social cause of helping underprivileged children in their education and other needs.
