Kids Journeys and Arctic Dreams

<p><span style=background-color: rgba(249 249 249 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Life is a winding journey full of twists and challenges. From the carefree days of childhood to the hurdles of adulthood each step shapes who we are. </span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(249 249 249 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Born in Iran I lived there for 35 years before moving to Canada. A geography class sparked my fascination with the Arctic and reading Jack London's White Fang in 1975 fuelled my dream of experiencing it firsthand. </span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(249 249 249 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>In 1995 I moved to Canada bringing me closer to that dream. In 2011 my wife and I visited Kugluktuk Nunavut where the Arctic's cold beauty came to life before our eyes. </span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(249 249 249 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>I started an after-school program at the local library which became a gathering place for the community. From 2016 to 2022 I worked in Norman Wells Northwest Territories where my experiences with young children deeply influenced my writing. These experiences ultimately inspired the stories in this book. </span></p><p> </p>
