Kings and Cowboys

<p>In <em>Kings and Cowboys</em> innocence meets wildness as Will navigates high school life friendships and young romance in his small Wyoming town in the 1960s. As J. A. Woods’s novel opens Will feels like he has the winning hand with a steady girlfriend Friday night poker games and his cherry Chevy. But a harrowing moment on a mountain road changes all of that and Will must find a way to reshuffle the deck before the aftermath takes him out of the game. <em>Kings and Cowboys</em> is both a poignant and an entertaining coming-of-age story but it also introduces a deeper heart-wrenching departure from the usual inspirational theme that will take readers by surprise.</p>
