About The Book

Are the sun moon and stars really that far away from us?. In the last years the heliocentric worldview is again increasingly criticized and questioned and the geocentric worldview experiences its revival. Not least responsible for this are classical books which bring the heliocentric model in great distress and to which the modern supporters of geocentrism or the Flat Earth Theory (FET) refer.. One of the most important books on this subject is the work of Gerrard Hickson which dismantles the entire heliocentric model of the universe and Einstein's theories.. In the year 1907 the author Gerrard Hickson made a remarkable discovery which convinced him that the sun was very much nearer to the earth than was generally supposed and that the astronomers - however improbable it might seem - had been mistaken in estimating the distance of the sun at ninety-three million miles. He then proceeded to examine the means by which the sun’s distance had been computed and discovered a fundamental error. The author set himself the tremendous task of proving the error tracing its consequences backward to the source from which it sprang. The result of this research is a highly revealing history of the (mis)development of astronomy from the time of the Roman Empire up to 1922 the year this book was published. . This new edition contains the entire original text including all original diagrams. It has been designed to be clear and reader-friendly. Thus a pretty large font size (15p) has been used which should ensure a pleasant reading experience.. Also there are no restrictions by DRM (digital rights management). The e-book can be read on all devices.. The book is part of a series of classic books that criticize and question the heliocentric model of the universe.
