<p><em>Kingsley: First Act</em> was designed to provide two different reading experiences. The first one is a non-linear narrative and the second is a traditional linear narrative. If you like a challenge you can read the non-linear narrative following the clues as each character is introduced. The non-linear narrative has a cinematic feel and encourages you to fit the events together like a puzzle. If you prefer a more familiar narrative flow you can read the linear narrative from front to back following the events as they unfold chronologically. Together the two reading experiences offer a new approach to storytelling inviting you to see events from different angles and gain a deeper understanding of the plot.</p><p></p><p>What began on Christmas Eve as a simple case turned out to be much bigger than anyone could have imagined. Gary has always wanted to be known as the best detective of all time but he is forced to work with another detective to solve a case in just one hour. As the two detectives follow the clues they become intertwined with unexpected characters including a magical creature a maid and a Calamity. As the investigation unfolds in the town of Kingsley Gary will have to choose between friendship and fame.</p>
