Kitty on a Kite

From the day I was born on a dairy farm in Nebraska animals have been a integral part of my life. I have always enjoyed writing stories and poems so when I became a grandmother It seemed only natural to start writing stories for children. Of course the subject matter was something very familiar in my life animals. The idea for this story came when my husband bought a huge old target kite at a auction. I have no idea why he bought it but he seemed to gain great joy teasing me that he was going to launch my beloved cat on the kite and fly him about. Of course he never did but the idea inspired my story Kitty On A Kite. The children in my life have enjoyed reading Kitty On A Kite and it is my desire to share it with you. I hope you also enjoy it.
