Our research would be motivated by the ethnobotanical context which would consist in establishing a relationship between the population and the medicinal plants they would use to be cured of malaria. Given the very high cost of imported pharmaceutical products the ATETELA would turn to medicinal plants for treatment which would have less economic value. Ethnobotanical surveys should lead to scientific knowledge of the medicinal species harvested which would determine the various natural substances in the aqueous and organic extracts of frequently used species.A census of the medicinal plants constituting the biological (or plant) material on the one hand and the species frequently used on the other hand for an analysis of the natural substances.
