Know your birds- Western India

This book is an attempt to showcase author’s passion for photography and aims to promote protect and generate interest in wild life photography as well as birding. For sustainable development to be achieved it is crucial to harmonize three core elements: economic growth social inclusion and environmental protection. These elements are interconnected and all are crucial for the well-being of individuals and societies. Our focus is on SDGs Goal No 15: Halt biodiversity loss! This book is an effort to bring together some original photographs of birds of Western India by Sudhir Nambiar. Hope our effort to promote local birds shall influence the Government to protect trees and natural water bodies and also inculcate healthy sensitivity towards wildlife.
