Knowing the Origins of Criminology

Before beginning the study of this very interesting subject some brief observations related to the being and his intellect are indispensable. Throughout the centuries man has been conditioning himself according to the customs experiences and teachings of each era in general and according to each social group in particular. Once experiences or facts are fixed in our minds we end up accepting them and we can hardly make abstraction of what reality is because the concept of existence is clinging and transmitted from generation to generation to such an extent that any change of mentality cannot be easily accepted no matter how much we try to demonstrate with factors or renewing circumstances that tend to show us a true vision.The reason however simplistic it may be is that man tends to be traditionalist conservative in his beliefs and overcoming the rootedness of thousands of years is not an easy task; after all we have endured a whole process whose evolution has been very slow if we compare and take into account the millions of years that precede us.
