Knowledge attitude and practices of emergency contraception in Delhi

Unintended pregnancy is an important public health issue in developing countries because of its association with adverse social and health outcomes. Emergency Contraception (EC) is a safe and effective way to prevent unplanned pregnancy. Knowledge attitude and practice on emergency contraception are particularly important because of high rates of unwanted and teenage pregnancy. Emergency contraception gives a woman the last opportunity to protect herself from an otherwise unprotected intercourse; it has the potential to achieve the goal of -all pregnancies should be wanted.
