In the story the head of the family Thakur Sahib leaves Bihar and settles in Jharkhand. Thakur saheb succeeds in making big name in business as well as in politics on the strength of his efforts. His two sons daughter-in-law and a widowed daughter have an important role in his family. Just when Thakur saheb was about to touch new heights in political career a girl got killed under mysterious circumstances and his sons name was accused for the same. Due to this unprecedented incident his life changed forever. Before Thakur Sahib could take hold of the situation one more woman a journalist got killed who was a very close friend of her son.
