Krashak Kanaya

Gautam Nandawat is a Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession and currently practices in Aurangabad (Maharashtra). After obtaining his B.Com degree from Jodhpur in 1976 he went to Mumbai for CA training and education. Thereafter in 1982 he moved to Aurangabad as a financial manager in a company and after serving in companies for 18 years he started his CA practice. He is associated with social organizations like Lions Club Kalasagar etc. and has also been the President of ''Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture'' (CMIA) and Chairman of Aurangabad CA Branch. His initial education was in Hindi medium and his father was also a Hindi Sanskrit and Prakrit teacher hence he had a deep interest in Hindi literature since childhood. He studied Hindi literature extensively during his school life hence he was interested in writing literature since childhood. The publication of the poem ''Krishak Kanya'' is a result of such interest. He could not present this poem to the society in 1974 due to financial constraints but after about 48 years he has revived his interest and is presenting it now. His two works ''Khoi Lekhni'' and ''Maa Ki Mrityu'' have been released and his other work ''Rikt Seemant'' is also going to be published soon.
