Kundu

<p><strong><em>KUNDU; Prince of Riverton City</em></strong> is set on the island of Jamaica of the early 1980s Kundu an adolescent boy and his two best friends (Lorraine and Leon) struggle to live life within the island's mind-numbing poverty where scavenging the local dump for daily sustenance is the difference between eating and starvation living or dying. </p><p>In an atmosphere of incessant turf wars classism political skirmishes colonialism incest and gang violence Kundu is forced to make adult decisions too early in his teen life; in the process he will lose friends family and some of his own dreams.</p>
