Kutnar Son of Pic is a sequel to Langford’s earlier novel Pic: The Weapon-Maker and it continues the story of prehistoric life during the Stone Age. The novel focuses on Kutnar the son of Pic a weapon-maker and tribal leader. The book is set in a time when early humans were learning to harness tools fire and other survival skills offering a fascinating glimpse into the challenges of life during the prehistoric era. Kutnar now coming of age follows in his father’s footsteps but faces his own set of challenges as he matures into a hunter and toolmaker. He embarks on adventures that test his strength courage and intelligence while also learning the traditions and skills passed down by his father. Alongside survival challenges like hunting and defending against wild animals Kutnar also encounters neighboring tribes leading to conflict cooperation and the development of human society.
