La Ruptura artistic generation in Mexico

Since 1936 Mexico has stood out worldwide for being one of the most supportive countries by modifying its international policies in favor of exiled communities. That same year President Lázaro Cárdenas del Río implemented a policy of international solidarity that resulted in the refuge of 25000 Spanish exiles a product of the civil war that took place in the European country and brought with it filmmakers painters sculptors artists artists and academics who found a country with artistic freedoms.
