Can Nessa granddaughter of a Southern belle find love in 1898 Oklahoma Territory?</p>Homesteader Sam Jackson falls in love with fifteen-year-old Nessa Love at first sight. When Nessa's father gives Sam permission to court her she realizes she must leave her childhood behind.</p>She struggles to become a capable young woman in the rugged Oklahoma Territory of the late 1890s while Sam labors to win her love and provide a home for her.</p>A tornado and a blizzard bring Nessa to a closer relationship with God and to the realization that she loves Sam.</p>She begins to plan for her wedding but unexpected obstacles emerge that put her marriage in jeopardy.</p>
