The present work is the result of a course completion paper entitled: Workplace violence against nursing professionals in times of the COVID-19 pandemic approved by CEP/HUAP/UFF Nº 4.640.274 which had as a general object: to understand which situations of violence at work nursing professionals suffer or have suffered in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used was of the quali-quantitative type of exploratory nature. The results were equated in two parts: 1 - Profile of participants and 2- Categorization process. Regarding the categories the following emerged: 1 - Types of labor violence that nursing professionals suffer or have suffered in times of the COVID-19 pandemic; 2 - Coping strategies adopted by nursing professionals facing labor violence; 3 - The repercussions of labor violence on the health and care of nursing professionals. It is concluded that nursing professionals suffer from work-related violence which was increased after the pandemic caused by COVID-19. Thus it is essential to create a safe work environment free from work-related violence.
