About the Book: Nathuram Godse was asked by the Judge to say anything he wanted in his defence of murder charge of Mahatma Gandhi. He read his 95 handwritten pages statement detailing more than 140 points to justify his deed. When I read that statement I found that barring the initial paragraphs all the points related to incidence of Freedom Fight. He chose from different incidents from Fight one by one and tried to prove Mahatma Gandhi wrong by connecting them to him. Majority of his points ended with identical statement that Mahatma was unable to foster Hindu Muslim Unity. Without going into details to oppose or support contents of his numbered points I have tried to explain the conditions prevailing during Freedom Fight in respect of that particular point. I tried to cover all the points one by one. I found that such detailed study gave glimpses of the Freedom Fight .Khilafaat to Partition to question of 55 Crores to Pakistan. About the Author: Born in Gujarat and brought up and educated in Ranchi ( then in Bihar now Capital of Jharkhand). After graduating from Ranchi University in 1964 started service life. In 1969 joined a commercial bank and took VRS in 2000. Served in various places in Bihar Odisha Assam and West Bengal. Now taken Permanent Residence in Howrah W.B. For own satisfaction engaged in translating in Hindi mother tongue Gujarati and English. Till 2022 was working as freelance Banking Training Faculty.
