<p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Lancashire Folktales: A Storied Landscape is a collection of folktales re-imagined by Lancashire based storyteller and writer Jacqueline Harris with detailed notes and sources an introductory essay on the nature of folktale transmission and ten illustrative lino-cut plates by the dutch artist Marjan Wouda who has made Lancashire her home for the past twenty five years.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>These tales are rooted in the Lancashire landscape reflecting its geology geography diversity and the lives lived there. The themes and meaning-making that come through these retellings speak to current&nbsp;concerns about kindness inclusivity understanding and the importance of the natural world and our relationship to it.&nbsp;</span></p><p></p>
