Land Grants in Missouri Territory 1805-1812

<p>These documents provide land grants in Missouri during the years 1805-1812 for the territory purchased in the Louisiana Purchase which lies north of Missouri and borders Canada. Most of the area was settled by the French in the early 18th century and the other end the Spanish from the 16th century therefore many of the names are French or Spanish in origin with about as many English names and the other two. A full-name index is included in this work.</p><p><br></p>
