The pressure on land—the ultimate resource has been exponentially increasing in many parts of the world. Studies show that above 70% of the land in developing countries was not covered by modern land administration system. In this case especially women elders orphans and disabled persons are affected in the absence of recorded rights on land. Hence land registration and titling / certification is one of the basic tools to achieve social equity and promote sustainable development.
