Late Professor Yaganami Karta is hereby being honored via a Festschrift organized by his former colleagues and students of the Department of Languages and Linguistics and indeed the entire Faculty of Arts University of Maiduguri to mark his profound achievements and contribution to academic excellence during his life time. The theme of the Festschrift is: Language Literature History and Pedagogy which has been sub-categorised into five sections: Languages & Linguistics Literature Arts & Theatre Studies History Culture & Social Issues Religious Studies & Pedagogy Literary Traditional Issues & Other related Linguistics field of Studies.It is pertinent to state that all contributions in this Festschrift were subjected to a rigorous peer-review mechanism. Finally we wish to also point out that this Festschrift aims at significantly filling a lacuna in the fields of Languages Linguistics Culture History & Pedagogy as well as encourage younger academics of various field in Humanities to develop interest in their areas of specialization.
