Languages & Linguistics Literature Culture and Pedagogy VOLUME 1

The Faculty of Arts University of Maiduguri Nigeria in conjunction with the Department of Languages and Linguistics hereby honored Late Professor Mustapha Abba via a Festschrift organized by his former colleagues and students to mark his contribution to academic excellence during his life time. The theme of the Festschrift is: Languages & Linguistics Literature Culture & Pedagogy. The Festschrift has been sub-divided into five different sections for ease of reference namely: Languages & Linguistics Literature Arts & Theatre Studies History Culture and Social Issues Religious Studies and Pedagogy. It is important to point out that all contributions were subjected to a peer-review. We wish to state categorically that this Festschrift aims at filling the existing gaps in the fields of Languages & Linguistics Literature Culture & Pedagogy to mention but a few.Finally we hope that this Festschrift will significantly encourage younger Linguists Historians Religious Scholars as well as Theatre artists to develop interest in the areas of research data analysis and publication.
