Are human beings really inherently good?Las Locas (the madwomen) takes place in Buenos Aires Argentina and follows the stories and perspectives of three women: Catalina a middle-aged artist with dead parents and insecurities that she hides behind her art; Rosa an elderly psychic who has suffered and survived grief far too many times; and Magdalena a cold materialistic mother living with unthinkable guilt as well as an affinity for expensive wine and showing off to others.Following Catalinas parents death her world turns upside down as she digs into their past. After 30 years of searching for her stolen granddaughter Rosa is closer than ever to finding her thanks to her psychic abilities and her daughters Internet stalking abilities. Magdalenas white porcelain home screams perfection and materialism but her hidden regrets suggest sorrow and remorse.
