“It is said the greatest discovery in Dentistry in the past 100 years is the local anesthesia which takes away the pain. The second greatest discovery in Dentistry is the laser which takes away the needle and the drill.” Scientific research and papers describing the Dental applications of lasers have appeared in Dental literature for more than 30 years. However due to vast and contradictory nature of this subject very few comprehensive compilations are available on their use in Dentistry. This book documents the basic scientific and clinical research on lasers in Dentistry with special emphasis on applications in field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.
