<p>Waking from what she believes is a nightmare Julie Summers walks through her bedroom door and into a vision of the near future-an unfamiliar room a woman strangled and the face of the killer. A call to the police brings a mysterious detective to her door. Visions of a sacrificial murder to pay homage to a dark god come during his visit and she soon learns that the detective works for an agency that wants to use her abilities for their own purposes.</p><p>Throughout her journey Julie experiences a growth of powers she isn't aware that she has. Determined to keep from being part of a lab experiment she struggles to assist in saving lives and lying low. She attempts to solve the mystery while running for her life-her freedom-and eventually into the hands of the murderers.</p>
