Born on June 16 1964 Manoj Dhiman has penned two books in the Hindy language titled Late Night Party (collection of short stories) and Barish ki Boondein (collection of poetry). He started writing children literature during his childhood. His stories poems jokes cartoons and other creative work approaved in various dailies and magazines such as Lot-Pot Dainik Tribune The Tribune Punjab Kesari Jag-Bani Vir Pratap Hind-Samachar Indian Express and Jagrati. After entering into the profession of journalism he got totally cut-off from the creative work for over fifteen years. But something remained sweltering in his mind and heart over the years. Finally his senses forces him to restart creative work and he penned Late Night Party in 2007 followed by Barish ki Boondein in 2009. Both the books have appeared in the leading dailies and magazines. His forthcoming books are; Shoonya Ki Or and Ghoomta Akash both in Hindi. He has also participated in the Hindi literary programmes of Doordarshan (Jalandhar) and Akashvani (Jalandhar). He has also participated in the literary programmes organised by the National Book Trust (NBT). Presently he is working as Principal Correspondent with Hindustan Times at Ludhiana in Punjab. Previously he had worked as Staff Correspondent with Indian Express at Jalandhar and Ludhiana. He had also worked as Striger with various dailies such as The Tribune Dainik Tribune Punjabi Tribune Times of India (Delhi Edition) Press Trust of India (PTI) Daily Ajit (Punjabi) About the Author Shaheena Khan is Former Associate Professor for Broadcast Journalism specialize in Radio Journalism training aspirants at Indian Institute of Mass Communication Delhi.
