Le Commencement prend fin ici / The Beginning Ends Here

The current bilingual print volume published by Lambert Academic Publishing derives from an invitation to me to create translations of the pieces in English into French by two young intrepid French poets and editors founders of the international bilingual online poetry review Recoursaupoeme.fr Matthieu Baumier and Gwen Garnier-Duguy with whom I worked as a translator of numerous poets and texts for a period of over four years. The volume also includes original illustrations created for the collection by French engraver printmaker and illustrator Bernadette Genoud-Prachet with whom I have worked for almost twenty years. Thus in an important sense the volume represents a collaborative international project among poets editors and artists sustained over time.
