Leadership called Leadership is not Leadership

<p>During my career I've had the privilege of working with thousands of people all over the world engaging with them and their thoughts on leadership and how'd they'd describe effective leadership (from their own personal perspective).</p><p></p><p>Remarkably the feedback has been consistent across roles organisations industries cultures countries and generations and even though the workplace has changed significantly during these years the descriptions of the principles and practices for effective leadership have not.</p><p></p><p>For the first time in history we have six different generations working side-by-side in the workforce and even though each generation comes with their own unique wants and needs the practices required for effective leadership for each generation are the same.</p><p></p><p>This guidebook condenses thousands of conversations into about nine thousand words to describe the nine principles and nine practices for effective leadership (that's a lot of nines I know!).</p>
