Leading By Example During a Crisis

<p>In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic healthcare systems globally faced unprecedented challenges and uncertainties. For medical leaders the practice of patient care quickly evolved into a high-stakes crisis management task. As the director of a medical group in Texas I found myself in an unexpected but critical leadership role embraced with a deep sense of responsibility towards my patients team and community.
