Learning from Within (Abridged)

Are the experiences of refugee women different from those of their male counterparts? What happens to refugee women once they arrive in America? What are the challenges they face and how do they cope with them? This book attempts to answer these questions through the lens of five refugee women who share their experiences of motherhood education mental health and entrepreneurship to start a dialogue between readers and narrators to further the understanding of the experiences of refugee women.
