Leisure Activities in Rheumatoid Arthritis

Over the last few years a connection between not being able to parti­cipate in leisure activities and cognitive decline and the risk of dementia has been found. Quality of life is affected if the most important leisure activities are lost. This book describes how participation in leisure activites are affected by a cronic disease. It identifies the risk group for losing leisure activities and the activities most often lost. The analysis should help shed some light on how to help persond with a newly diagnosed cronic disease to keep their leisure activites.
