Padmabhushan Late lamented Most Rev. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Marthoma Valiya Metropolitan (27-04-1918 to 05-05-2021) Legendary Valiya Metropolitan belonged to Adangapurathu Kalamannil family. His   passion for travel took him all across the globe until his death in 2021. He was the longest serving ordained bishop in the world and had the privilege to be an observer in the second Vatican Council.  Considering the services to the society and the country he was awarded Padma Bhushan in 2018.
