Leon Varjian's Fun City

<p>College prankster Leon Varijian (1952-2015) is most famous for his activities at the University of Wisconsin 1976-1980 where a takeover of the student government led to lawns of pink flamingoes and two separate partially submerged Statues of Liberty in Lake Mendota. But before all that were the Indiana University years where his zero compromise stunts were honed. This book documents those earlier years at Indiana University 1972-1975 culminating in Leon's run for mayor of Bloomington Indiana and the first annual Banana Olympics.</p>
