LEPTOSPIROSIS IN HISTORICAL AND MODERN FACETS OF THE SCIENTIFIC PARADIGM

The monograph presents data on the incidence and outbreaks of leptospirosis in the world among the population at the turn of XX and XXI century. It summarizes the results of research of domestic and foreign authors on the history etiology and circulation of pathogens in foci of various types as well as highlighted features of the epidemic process and clinical and laboratory diagnosis of leptospirosis. The role of prophylactic and anti-epidemic measures in foci of leptospirosis is considered.
