Résigné il se tourna vers Dieu qui ne le rejeta pas mais l'appela au baptême de la repentance à l'occasion duquel il changea son prénom en Gabriel. Dieu lui fit des révélations dignes d'être portées à la connaissance de tout croyant sur la vraie identité de Jésus sa mission apostolique vers le monde le sens et la portée du Coran dont est dérivé le jihad islamique armé.
