LESSONS I LEARNED OUTSIDE THE SYLLABUS

Nobody in the Gautam family wished for a daughter—but I arrived anyway part of God’s plan. Not by accident but as a quiet answer to a question no one asked. Already “daughter” was checked off the family scoreboard so as “daughter number two” I didn’t get a standing ovation. Plot twist: I became the main character. If timing were Olympic-worthy my brain would win gold for writing this masterpiece on the utterly random yet dramatic 20th June.
