J. C. Corcoran is a reti red police offi cer and private investi gator. Corcoran graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy in 1973 and worked in the EDU (Evidence Detecti on Unit) a precursor of the present C. S. I. units. Aft er reti ring from law enforcement Corcoran studied theology at the Southwestern Bapti st Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth Texas. His fi rst writt en arti cle He Never Played With Me was published in Home Life Magazine. When he decided to write a novel Corcoran was advised to write about his experiences in law enforcement and thirteen years later he published his fi rst novel The Biker's Wedding. Corcoran lives in Indiana where he is at work on his next Tracey Dodd novel
